Jing 51-2 Well constructed by the 50004 drilling crew is a highly difficult and large displacement double target directional well.

It is a difficult well in Yanchang Jingbian area. Under the leadership of the captain Li Aimin, the entire team of employees showed full enthusiasm. Carryed out technical measures conscientiously, operate carefully, did a solid job in every process, and used surface equipment to protect underground safety, quality for survival, safety for speed, and speed for benefit. The whole team worked together in just 28 days to finish the directional well which created the best results in the same block.

Before drilling this well, our project department had much carefully analyzed the engineering technology, mud, safety, maneuverability, outsourcing, etc. of the project together with the well team, and formulated effective technical measures for this well: operation precautions, mainly for leak prevention, collapse prevention, jam prevention, prevention of shrinkage, etc., to ensure the smooth flow of the wellbore; fast drilling, improve time efficiency, reserve enough plugging materials in advance for the vulnerable bottom layer; insist on using solids control equipment to remove the mud Harmful solid phases to ensure underground safety; the entire team of employees observes, surveys, maintains and strictly implements technical measures and operating procedures. Ensure that the surface equipment can meet the needs of underground production.

This well has six main highlights:

1. The plugging is successful at one -off. 2. Every tripping is unimpeded and never hits the well eye. 3. The electrical test is successful once. 4. The casing is run smoothly to the end, and the pump cycle is normal. 5. The construction of two-stage cementing is smooth. 6. Wellbore quality and cementing quality are all excellent.

With the joint efforts of all the staff, we delivered a high-quality well to the company in a safe, efficient, high-quality and fast manner, and achieved a beautiful start in 2016.

The most commendable for the construction of this well were: Liu Bao, the mud chief of the well team, and Li Yi, the mud engineer of the project department. Major achievements had been made in underground safety, which had given us a good start for the entire project department and also played a leading role in other well teams.
